Akram Razzouk,
M.D.
Dr. Razzouk is the founder and Medical Director of Salt Creek Therapy Center and Medical Director of Mental Health Services at Adventist Hinsdale Hospital. He has been the Teaching Chief of Psychiatry for Hinsdale Family Practice Residency since 1982.
He completed Medical School and Psychiatry Residency at Loma Linda University, Loma Linda, California.
Dr. Razzouk is a Diplomat of the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology. He is also a Life Member of the American College of Physicians Executives (ACPE) since 1987.
His areas of interest include Adult Psychiatry and Gero—Psychiatry, Electro-Convulsive Therapy, Administrative Medicine and Academic Psychiatry.
Dr. Razzouk has medical staff privileges at Adventist Hinsdale Hospital and Adventist La Grange Memorial Hospital.
He has been Chairman of the Department of Psychiatry at Adventist Hinsdale Hospital for over 10 years and currently serves on the Governing Board of Adventist Midwest Health.
Dr. Razzouk has been a frequent contributor of Mental Health Articles in local community newspapers.
Dr. Razzouk also published in the DePaul University Journal of Law an article regarding Post Traumatic Stress in the Military.
Ghassan
M. Aldurra, M.D.
Dr. Aldurra is a licensed psychiatrist. He completed
his medical training at Damascus University Medical Center in 1988,
then went on to practice general medicine prior to his coming to
the United States.
Dr. Aldurra joined the Loyola University Medical
Center's Psychiatry Residency Program and graduated in 2001. Throughout
his residency and following his graduation, he has remained actively
involved with a number of research projects at the Hines VA hospital
which have resulted in a stream of publications on mental health
disorders. Moreover, he is often sought after as a speaker on psychotherapy
and other related subjects.
Dr. Aldurra's focus at Salt Creek Therapy Center
is on Adult Psychiatry. His areas of clinical interest are affective
and emotional disorder, substance abuse, and psychotic disorders.
He is a very caring clinician who enjoys assisting his patients
and highly respects their privacy.
Parag
Chandarana, M.D.
Parag Chandarana, M.D. joins Salt Creek Therapy Center after years of successful private practice at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Joliet, IL., while also being on the Faculty Medical Staff of the Department of Psychiatry at Loyola University Medical Center. Following her medical training at Bombay University, Dr. Chandarana went on to complete three residences: Obstretics and Gynecology at K.E.M. Hospital in Bombay, Family Practice at La Grange Community Hospital and Psychiatry at Loyola University Medical Center.
Dr. Chandarana is a Board Certified Psychiatrist with experience on women and adolescent issues. Her primary interest is in General and Adolescent Psychiatry.
Dr. Dwivedi comes to Salt Creek Therapy Center
from the Institute of Personal Development where he has practiced
since August of 2001. He completed his medical training at the Jawahar
Lal Nehru Medical College in 1990, then went into private practice
doing general medicine. In July of 1999, Dr. Dwivedi entered a General
Psychiatry residency at the Chicago Medical School. Following the
completion of this residency, he obtained a fellowship in Child
Psychiatry with the Institute for Juvenile Research at the University
of Illinois at Chicago.
Since completing his fellowship in Child Psychiatry,
Dr. Dwivedi has practiced at the Institute for Personal Development
in Morris, at North Central Behavioral Health in La Salle, and at
the Dupage County Mental Health Department. His focus at Salt Creek
Therapy Center is Child and Adolescent care.
Li-Jun (Lilly)
Huang, M.D.
Dr. Huang completed her Psychiatry Residency at Loyola University Medical Center in 2002. She was also trained in Internal Medicine at Beijing, China, before coming to work at Tufts University School of Medicine as a Post Doctoral Fellow. Dr. Huang has extensive training and clinical experience in child, adult and geriatric psychiatry. She is also an accomplished researcher with a number of significant publications. Dr. Huang is certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology.
Dr. Huang enjoys a bilingual fluency in English and in Chinese.
Angela S. Lima, D. O.
Angela S. Lima,D.0. comes to Salt Creek Therapy Center from Mac Neal Health Network where she has been a staff psychiatrist since March 1999. She completed her Doctor of Osteopathy at the Chicago College of Osteopathic Medicine in 1990, then went on to Northwestern University and Northwestern Memorial Hospital for four year residency in Psychiatry.
Dr. Lima is Board Certified in General Psychiatry. Her primary areas of interest, however, are the adults and Geriatric Psychiatry. She brings to SCTC tremendous experience and compassion for dealing with elderly patients at the office and in a number of area nursing homes. Moreover, Dr. Lima enjoys her trilingual fluency in Spanish, Portuguese and English.

Muirragui, M. D.
Dr. Muirragui completed here medical training at
the University of Illinois in Chicago. She then served as the chief
resident of psychiatry at Lutheran General Hospital in Park Ridge,
Illinois. Her areas of primary interest are in the treatment of
affective disorders in adult and geriatric patients.
Nishad Nadkarni M.D., M.D.

Omar Nasib, M.D.
Dr. Nasib has completed his training in General Psychiatry,
and is on the medical staff at Hinsdale Hospital. He is a Board
Eligible psychiatrist who's special expertise is adult geriatrics.
Dr. Nasib offers diagnostic assessment, medication management
and psychotherapy. His areas of interest include mood and anxiety
as well as depression.

Alford, Ph.D.
Richard M. Alford, Ph.D. has over 30 years experience in providing Psychological and Neuropshychological services to school age children through older adults.
Dr. Alford’s practice style makes use of a comprehensive approach and collaboration with family, school and other professionals. He specializes in treating mood and anxiety disorders, post-traumatic stress, as well as behavior problems, ADHD, and Asperger’s disorder. Dr. Alford is experienced in providing comprehensive evaluations and in the use of Neurofeedback techniques. He received his Doctorate from Loyola University in Chicago and has completed Certified Post-Doctoral studies in Neuropsychology.

A licensed clinical psychologist and a registered
professional nurse. She earned her Doctorate in Clinical Psychology
at the Illinois School of Professional Psychology in Chicago IL.,
with a specialization in Health Psychology, and has been practicing
in the Chicago area since 1992. .
Dr. McInerney is specialized in the treatment
of adults and adolescents. She is experienced with diagnostic psychological
testing for a variety of circumstances, and has completed Level
1 training certificate in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing.
Donna Mahoney, Ph.D.

Puskarich, Ph. D., (L.C.P. )
Dr. Puskarich is a licensed Clinical Psychologist who holds a Master’s and a Doctorate degree in Clinical Psychology. She has been practicing in the area for over 20 years working with individuals, families, and groups using intervention strategies that emphasize personal strengths.
She has advanced training in a variety of treatment methods including cognitive behavioral (CBT) and mindfulness-based approaches.
Dr. Puskarich also has research and clinical experience in relaxation training and stress management.
Her areas of expertise include the treatment of anxiety and mood disorders, marital and relationship issues, divorce recovery, and adjustment to life stress.
Karen
Hoganson, M.S.W., L.C.S.W., R.N.
A Licensed Clinical Social Worker with extensive
experience as a registered nurse in medical intensive care units.
She earned her Masters of Social Work (MSW)from the University of
Illinois at Chicago, and has gained experience doing both inpatient
and outpatient psychotherapy. Her areas of interest include family,
adolescents, and group therapy as well as treatment of domestic
violence cases.
Karen Pecha
LCSW
Karen is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and holds a Masters of Social Work (M.S.W.) from The School of Social Work at Loyola University of Chicago, and is currently pursuing a Ph. D. In Transpersonal Psychology at Mid West University.
As a clinician, Karen has extensive experience in providing psychotherapeutic treatment to individuals , couples, and families. She has trained in Substance Abuse, O.A.T.E.S., and has worked with groups for chronically mentally ill patients. Her areas of specialty are in psychological assessment, individual bereavement counseling and bereavement support groups. Her services extend to adults, adolescents, and children.
Daniel
K. Lee, M.S., LCPC
Dan Lee is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor.
He completed his Masters of Science in Counseling Psychology at
Illinois Benedictine University, and is currently a Doctoral Candidate
at the Adler School of Professional Psychology in Chicago. While
working on his Masters program, Dan completed two internships providing
individual and group therapy at Midwest Resources then St. Joseph
Hospital. Since 1996, Dan has held a number of administrative and
clinical positions.
Dan has a number of professional interests. He
enjoys working with adults and adolescents and his services include
individual, group and family therapy.
Rachelle Ryser, LCSW
Nancy Schulz, LCSW
Nancy Schulz is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, graduate of Loyola University at Chicago. She has extensive experience working with patients of all ages doing individual, family and group therapy. Her areas of interest include cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectic behavioral therapy, self injury, transitional issues. Anxiety, ADD, women’s issues, family dynamics, grief and loss. She has worked as a Therapists in Rainbow Hospice, leading group therapy with children and teens. Nancy held prior positions at Riveredge Hospital, Loyola University Medical Center, Westlake Hospital and Linden Oaks Hospital.
